My name is Manekha Gadiano-Dimaano and I am a portrait photographer based in Montreal. My work focuses on capturing people by exploring their expression of selfhood, authenticity, and personality. The emphasis of my portraiture photography is about creating images that are both grounded and expressive that are rich in colour and thoughtful in composition, reflecting a deep interest in the quiet beauty of each person found in real and unfiltered moments.
A key part of my practice lies in the interaction with my subjects; I believe great portraits come from genuine connection. My shoots are collaborative, relaxed, and often filled with laughter, creating a space where people feel comfortable enough to let their guard down.
